My name is Sarah, the founder + owner + maker at sarah's little zoo.

I opened the shop on Etsy in 2018 after teaching myself how to crochet in graduate school.
​
Bringing others joy and comfort through these little animals has been incredibly fulfilling, and I have loved watching this little shop grow!

care instructions
Spot cleaning recommended.
Hand-wash and air-dry if needed.
If washed, your animal may need to be re-shaped with your hands to reflect its original condition.
After a long journey in the mail, if your animal arrives a bit squished, you can easily re-shape it with your hands.
Keep away from pets and sharp objects. sarah's little zoo animals are durable, however they are made of yarn so if they are handled too roughly they could become damaged. Please contact me with any questions or concerns.
Please note that the 'shaggy' fur started out as loops and have been freshly snipped for the desired texture. Some initial shedding may occur.
shipping + processing times

Orders are shipped via USPS in poly mailer bags from Alexandria, VA.
​
The time it takes for me to finish an order depends on the volume of orders I have at the time. Feel free to message me for a more accurate shipping date. Tracking information will be uploaded to the order info page once the item ships. Shipments are sent to the address given at checkout, unless otherwise notified. Please double check your shipping information to make sure it's correct. If an order is returned to me due to an incorrect address, the customer is responsible for covering any additional shipping costs.

If a specific delivery date is required, please contact me directly for expedited service. Large orders consisting of multiple animals may take additional time to prepare.

sarah's little zoo currently only ships to the USA and Canada. For Canadian orders, please be aware that customs may delay delivery.

*Please note that once a package is in possession of the USPS, sarah's little zoo is no longer responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items. Rest assured, your item will be packaged safely in a waterproof, tear-resistant, sealed poly mailer bag with insurance through USPS. Responsibility for the item transfers to the buyer once USPS has verified delivery.
returns, exchanges + cancellations
Cancellations may be requested within 24 hours of purchase.

Unfortunately, because each animal is made-to-order, no returns, refunds, or exchanges are accepted at this time. This also guarantees your item hasn't been in anyone else's possession prior to being yours. However, I want you to be completely satisfied with your animal, so please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
